Description:

Teacup, micro, mini and Nano are all just words used by some people to sell their pigs. They are all miniature Asiatic pigs, including the Juliana which died out years ago. They are trying to breed pigs which resemble them using Potbellies as Foundation stock. The registry has only been around a few years. Miniature pigs are excellent pets. They are very friendly and because of their intelligence, can be taught to walk on a leash and do many amazing tricks. Pigs are extremely clean, odor free (if neutered) and don't get fleas. They are hypoallergenic, making them perfect companions for asthmatics. Bathing them with human shampoo can be followed with conditioner to soften their coats. They can live indoors, using the litter box, potty pad or doggie door. If they live outdoors, they need shelter that keeps them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. My piglet's come in many different colors (white, black, black and white, Pinto, Pebble and spotted), some with crystal blue eyes. All my youngsters are socialized with people, dogs, cats, livestock and poultry. You can see just how small they will be when grown because all their relatives live on my ranch. I am looking for responsible pet lovers who are zoned (permitted by ordinance) to home a piglet permanently. Please check with the City or the Housing Development you live in to make sure you're allowed to have one before calling. All my pigs come with 24 hour support. Piglets are bathed and wormed before they go to their new forever home. New parents receive paperwork (birthdate, color, parents) and food along with the phone number to an excellent low-cost spay and neuter veterinarian in the area. I also offer extra services. If you would like your piglet trained to do tricks, walk on a leash or to be fixed before you take them home, just let me know. Please call with any additional questions or to make an appointment to visit my ranch.
