This large Oriental Carpet was recently removed along with other antiques and furniture from an old colonial home my elderly uncle had up in the mountains in Ligonier. Everything was well taken care of as he had no children or pets to abuse them. As you can see by my photos, this beautiful carpet was the centerpiece of his Great Room. The colors are still bright with no sun fading or staining and the 3" fringed border has not been removed or trimmed. This large antique carpet is made of 100% wool and measures 16' x 11'4". You can't buy anything today of this quality for the price I am asking for this beautiful Oriental Carpet. Uncle Jim told me he paid over $5,000 when he bought it years ago.
