Commercial sewing machine - ADLER 291

This is a production machine for canvas or upholstery products. There are some basic walking-foot machines that do the work but in a more leisurely fashion. This machine is better used where time is a more critical component. It is programmable for some basic features and has auto-thread trimming. It is also equipped with a pneumatic knee lift ...we were never quite that busy. It was (and can be converted back to) a twin-needle machine. We have made aircraft covers for about 40 years and this has been our primary machine because it is predictable and reliable.
