Description:

I'm selling my beloved adventure van. I bought it in September of 2018 from a fellow who had run a remodeling business out of it with 211,000 mi. Since then I have camped in it and taken it skiing mostly. It has never been abused off road but rather used lightly. The inside is supposed to be a temporary build just to get it usable in the short term. I wanted to build out the inside more luxuriously but I don't have time to make it happen and it works so well as is, However everything I have in it right now is bare wood so it wouldn't be very hard to apply finishes, maybe some carpet and trim.. As far as the build out I did goes: - stable 2x6 bed frame (tons of storage under the bed) - Kitchen/work counter space with underside storage - Insulated windows and floor - 12 ft. Propane hose run from the kitchen floorspace out to a hitch-mounted luggage rack for safely storing a 20 lb propane tank outside the vehicle. - This 12 ft. Hose is for a 4,000-9,000 BTU mr. buddy heater, which so far has kept me toasty down to at least 5 degrees F (it hasn't been colder than that yet, and I've never had to turn it up all the way to 9,000). - The hose also threads into most propane stoves that also accept a green 1lb bottle. - 2x Renogy slim 100 W monocrystalline solar panels. - The panels are mounted to a pair of white roof ladder racks (still with space for a ladder or skis on one side) - Solar charge controller w/ USB - 410W AC/DC power inverter w/ USB - 2x Interstate deep cycle Marine/RV batteries, 160 AH each for a whopping 320 AH of chargeable solar battery power! Not including your main vehicle battery! I have run leads to connect the vehicle battery to the solar system. The wiring is modular and easy to change around. - This van is equipped to provide heat and electricity for all season outdoor camping in and off road. The drivetrain is powered by the very reliable 4.6L Ford engine that has been used in fleet vehicles reaching 500,000-600,000 miles with regular maintenance (which has been done). It has a tow package rated for 14,000 pounds. At 213,000 mi I replaced the throttle body, spark plugs, coolant, and at 215,000 got 4 new (still new) Winterforce all season snow tires. According to the previous owner, the transmission was replaced 85,000 miles ago and will run tight for the foreseeable future. During the conversion everything else was attended to as I wanted to have a similar baseline for the whole vehicle this winter. Regular maintenance intervals have been performed since. Diesels are awesome but that kind of power also breaks stuff. This engine will get you where you want to go (although slower) with much less expensive maintenance and without breaking axles or other drive train items. The stock 4.10 gearing is good and helps it get 15-16 average mpg to Fruita and back but an upgrade to 4.56 or 4.88 would help it up the mountains a bit. The front-most inside roof light is out, it needs wire extensions & a little soldering. Lastly the radio was broken when I bought it, had a rap CD stuck in it and the screen doesn't work. I found a cool replacement on Amazon for $80, w/ a touchscreen & backup camera. The body is in almost perfect condition with no rust and no damage other than some minor dents in the bumpers and some paint that started to peel & fade as of last year. Nothing that a low cost Maaco paint job couldn't solve. It currently is approaching 216,000 miles and is showing no signs of quitting any time soon. Whether you are looking for a van to build out, leave as is or need a tried and tested work van, the next owner will be very happy with their purchase. I'm selling it because my partner and I want a travel trailer & small truck instead. Call or text Isaac. Title is in hand. Not interested in any trades. No offers will be responded to unless you've looked at it in person. Thanks!
