1973 Porsche 914 2.0

1973 Porsche 914 with the desirable 2.0 engine. This is a car worthy of restoration. It has its original fuel injection system. A previous owner installed a funky air cleaner. I acquired a proper original "square Box" air cleaner unique to the 2.0 I acquired the car this past summer and have only driven it 2 blocks from the drop off point to my house. It ran rough so I decided to take out the injectors and have them sent to Bill Johnson at Mr. Injector. He reported they were all bad but told me where to get new ones which I ordered from Rock Auto. I then decided it would be best to pull the tank and clean it out along with replacing the fuel filter which I have not done yet. As you would expect for a 50 year old 914 at this price point there is some rust. I have attempted to photo capture all the typical areas of concern in a google album. My situation is that I have another in progress restoration project and need to focus on getting that done 1st. If I had room for this 914, I would keep it. This car is complete and I have acquired many replacement parts to help in the restoration. Some of these parts will be included.
