Canon powershot 400sx camera SD card ERROR read add

Practically new Canon power shot 400 sx is Camera .was on vacation and got a SD card reader error code .well needed a camera so just went and bought a new one . Have $300 into this set up . Maybe an easy fix don't know anything on how to fix these my loss your gain .know it's as is .came from best buy .used maybe 5 times .loved this camera does videos still shots and amazing zoom .comes with all cords ,battery the charger , case card reader for laptop or TV, mini SD card adapter and SD card .meets at Walmart Montoursville or Lycoming Mall areas
