Vintage 1988 Univega Grantech 6400 Men's Road Bike

When it was released, the Univega GranTech 6400 was a top of the line Univega road bike. The Grantech was built in a time of experimentation in cycling; uniquely, the main triangle is made of aluminum tubes bonded to aluminum lugs (to provide stiffness and lightweight), while the stays and fork are made of chromoly steel for a smoother ride. Silver color aluminum frame. Completely original except for recently replaced seat and tires (Continental Gatorskin Bike Tires with puncture & sidewall protection). Weight is about 23 lbs. Some wear and scratches on the frame but otherwise in very good condition.
