1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner

I have a friend that is downsizing his collection, and is going to sell 3 of his cars. Since he doesn’t do internet, he got me to list this for him. This 56 Ford Fairlane Sunliner (convertible) has 72,784 original miles. The car has spent most of its life in SC. Mr Miles has owned it for about 4 years and in that time he took the original 292 out and installed a rebuilt 312 that has less than 300 miles on it with a 4-barrell. While he had the engine out he also installed a new clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing. He installed new hoses on the engine with the FORD printed on them. He also installed a new gas tank, and radiator. The car is just as nice underneath as it is on top. No signs of rust and no signs of any filler panels or body repairs or accidents. He also rebuilt the brake system, and new axle bearings and seals. Along with new exhaust and tires and shock, and new top pump.. She has no dings or dents in the body. Everything works except the temp gauge. Located in Martinsville VA. He is asking $45,500 and has a clean title. Yes, it is manual with no overdrive.
