Description:

I have a 2006 BMW, X3 3.01 Sport Utility 4D with approximately 132,821K miles. Please note that I drive this vehicle daily, so the mileage will continue to increase. This is a great vehicle. Starts right up. Runs and drives smooth and solid. This is a safe, reliable, fun and fuel-efficient vehicle that is ready to go. It is ready for you and your family for many years to come. We are selling this great vehicle at a fair price. Don't miss out on this low mileage vehicle! The exterior is in very good condition for the year as you can see in the large HD pictures attached to this listing. This is a great looking vehicle in person. This vehicle has been well taken care of. The engine bay looks clean and the engine purrs like new. It has two keys (we had an extra key made at the BMW dealership in Grand Rapids, MI). The interior is also in very good condition for the year as you can see in the pictures. It has all the popular options ( i.e., automatic cruise control, power windows, locks, mirrors, moonroof, etc.). This is a clean, well-kept vehicle. It's obvious that the previous owner took great care of this car, and it shows. I purchased the vehicle in 2021 with a “rebuilt salvage” brand on the title in Ohio. The damage was light (rear damage to the bumper and trunk door, which were replaced). It passed the Ohio safety inspection by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The title is no longer salvage but it does have a rebuild brand in the State of Michigan. It will now transfer and register like any other vehicle in Michigan. I have photographs of the vehicle from the accident, which I can email or text to you upon request. I searched the NHTSA and the BMW for safety and emissions recalls using the VIN (WBXPA93456WA32338) and did not identify anything outstanding for this vehicle at the time of this posting. I brought the vehicle into Ziebart for rust proofing, because the body on it is nearly in new condition. This treatment will ensure that the vehicle will never rust in Michigan while we continue to drive it. Please note that we bring the vehicle into Ziebart on an annual basis for rust proofing maintenance. I have all of the supporting documentation for this service, and it’s annual service with Ziebart. The vehicle has routine oil changes, and we also brought the vehicle to Tri City Auto Repair on December 1, 2022, for a bumper-to-bumper inspection. This 15-page inspection report can be made available upon request. Based on the inspection, we replaced the front and rear brakes and rotors (total cost $1,789.24) on December 20, 2022. Tri City Auto Repair made the following recommendations: replace spark plugs and boots, replace cabin air filter, and air filter, and engine air filter. However, during the test drive the vehicle will start to vibrate around 50mph and seems worse on acceleration than deceleration. They found that both the front and rear u-joint on the driveshafts are bad. Tri City Auto recommends replacing both the front and rear driveshafts. They noted that the tire tread was 5/32 on both the front and rear tires. There is sun roof works fine, except when it is put in tilt mode. The servo on the left side of the sun roof will go up, but will need to be manually closed. We don’t use the tilt mode when using the sun roof. I appreciate you taking the time to review this listing. I am going to list some common questions that I get regarding the sale of these rebuilt vehicles to help save you some time when considering whether or not this is the right vehicle for you and your family. Question: Was the vehicle in an accident? Answer: Most of the time it was and the insurance company sells the vehicle at an auction with a “salvage” title. Question: Do you have photographs of the vehicle when it was purchased at the auction? Answer: Yes. I have them saved in a shared folder and can text/email you a link so you can review the actual photographs. Question: Can I make you an offer? Answer: No. The vehicle is listed with a firm price because someone in our family is driving it as their primary vehicle everyday. For the listed price, we will sell it and purchase another replacement vehicle. Question: Can I bring the vehicle to a mechanic for inspection? Answer: Yes. I have had potential buyers schedule appointments with dealerships for point-to-point inspections and will bring the vehicle in for that type of inspection. If you are willing to invest the money for the inspection, I will invest my time to get it over to that dealership. Question: How can I pay you? Answer: Certified bank check only. This transaction must be safe for both the seller and the buyer, so I have opted to only conduct business by the use of certified bank check. I apologize if this is an inconvenience for anyone.
