Description:

LET'S NOT LET A VET MAKE A BET THEY WILL REGRET!!! Suicide becomes a viable option to those lost in the fog of years of war, mixed in are brief bouts of reality. Its a scary crisis that I battle today, and want to share my story far and wide across our beautiful land. Just need a safe motor-home to accomplish my mission. My cause is my survival and spreading hope to Vets in need along the way on my many miles. Looking for a hand up to help out our War Vets, including me. My Story is interesting and intriguing, with immeasurable emotional twists and turns. Love, War, Suffering, Addiction, Recovery, recovery never ends. I need a team to battle my demons. The VA is on my team and I want you to join me on my journey to total wellness. Lets put a dent in Veteran Suicides. "Veteran Crisis Hotline On A Very Mobile Home" is the name of my fundraiser on Facebook, check it out and share if you will. Thanks. Sponsor anyone? Veterans Crisis Hotline: show contact info The following is a letter I sent to a guy selling a tent trailer today. Thought a media production executive might be interested in sponsoring me with a BIG RV, multi-media equipment and a production crew. I'll visit historic landmarks, and meet up with a hero here and there and share experiences Vets face daily. I believe the show/documentary will save Veterans lives, by listening to my trials and tribulations due to a lot of combat deployments. or I could purchase what I need and start a You Tube channel, with the help of my tech savvy son. History Channel, Discovery, DVIDS, Amazon, Netflix, anybody? Veterans Crisis Hotline: show contact info The following letter/email, sent to a seller of a camper today, Christmas Eve 2018: from Me. By way of introduction, I am Andy McCaughey, Retired Army Ranger. If your trailer is still available on 01 Jan 2019, I will buy it cash for your asking price, 2300 bucks, pay day. If you could lower the price a bit I'd appreciate it :) Ill be living full time in this trailer for the foreseeable future. This will be a move up from being a homeless Vet. There are a lot of Vets in my boat; just spent time at the VA Hospital for a mental and spiritual tune up; got discharged today. I am looking for my next home while working myself out of a long, deep dark cycle of PTSD symptoms, and my foolish choices associated with, as the result of 5 combat tours. This camper is exactly what I am looking for. I had one before and built it into a hot-dog stand after I retired, sold it in 2014. Sold hot dogs and quesadillas, was living the American dream starting my own business (failed). But this one I will build for my temporary home. I'm not looking for sympathy or a handout, just a hand up by holding the camper for me. I am just a self-inflicted homeless Vet, needy for a home that I can tow with my SUV. Wish I could trade my RAV4 in for a big truck to get a bigger trailer home, but my financial situation leaves me no choice but a trailer such as yours, until I'm back on my feet. I'll upgrade as I roll along. I need to get out of my Ex wife's house. She was so generous to offer the couch for a few days today, specially Christmas. You can imagine how humbling the situation is for me. My life is a Country/Blues song right now, gave my dog to a friend to boot, 100 lb beautiful 2 yo Shepherd, Ruby. But it's cool that I'm hanging with my son for a few days. My ex and I are cordial, thank God, she's a great Mom too! Thank God again. Veterans Crisis Hotline: show contact info I am at the bottom and climbing out of a big hole I've dug for myself. The VA is great, and Vets are getting healed, if they get in there to heal. I'm going to paint the VA Crisis Hotline on the sides of the trailer and paint it red white and blue, with Stars and Stripes of course. Wish I had a 30-40 footer; I'd wrap it with the Veteran Crisis Hotline info, in hopes that a Vet will see it in time, and get the help that is readily available. You'd be amazed at the number of Vets in my condition and way worse. I'll be driving cross country at least 10 times over the next four years or so until I establish my final living place in Maine, and will travel with the trailer or one just like it in a couple weeks..from Issaquah, WA to Bingham, ME. Stopping at all the national parks along the way. Imagine the product visibility. I'd love to get a Film Producer and do a reality USA tour with this Retired Army Ranger rolling with 3 bronze stars, from 5 combat tours. This Sergeant Major is a real-time Case Study for PTSD at its finest. I'll be driving Cross Country several times over the next 3.5 years. Then, when my son graduates high school, I'll be living in my future home, to be built on land in Maine that my Sister and I bought on the Kennebeck River. I am so grateful for my network of family and friends that keep me trucking. Most Notably, I'm grateful to God that I'm still trucking along. Hope it works out and you sell it to a good home. Me please! Thanks. Respectfully, Andy McCaughey Sergeant Major USA (Ret) Veterans Crisis Hotline: show contact info I takes a Team to Battle our demons at times fellow vets.
