FOR SALE: ONE OF THE BEST STEINWAY PIANOS EVER, FROM THE "GOLDEN AGE" OF STEINWAY: A 1933 STEINWAY and SONS MODEL L GRAND PIANO (5' 10.5") w/walnut case and ivory keys. Serial # 277834. Model L was replaced around 2006 by Model O, which is identical, except for the shape of the tail (back end). The wider "square tail" of the L allowed room for a little more soundboard vibrating area near the bass bridge than the O, with its standard round back end. Model L (large) and Model O are both superior in tone and power to the smaller Steinways: Model S (small) and Model M (medium). The current Model O lists for about $108,000. A $1200 Jansen Artist Bench with adjustable height is included. FULLY RESTORED. The case has its original finish, but still looks very good cosmetically, so it does not need refinishing. The ivory keys are not chipped or damaged. Internally it has been fully rebuilt, in two stages: ACTION PARTS REPLACED AROUND 2007 WITH GENUINE STEINWAY PARTS: *New Steinway Hammers, shanks, flanges, jacks, wippens, bushings, and assorted felt and leather pieces.
